Born on September 16, 1966, in Dade county Florida, Brother Alan was soon living in Lodi, Arkansas with his mother and maternal grandparents while his father finished his military duties overseas. Upon his father’s return, the family relocated to northeast Indiana.

      It was there at the age of ten years old that Brother Schoeff accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior during a summer Vacation Bible School. He subsequently submitted to scriptural baptism a short time later.

      As a young teenager he began his ministry for the Lord by teaching during VBS. As he grew physically and spiritually, he began to teach in various Sunday School classes and his thirst to share the gospel became nearly unquenchable.

      On December 20, 1986, Brother Alan married his college sweetheart, Julie, and they began a joy filled marriage which remains focused on God. They are the parents of three: Renee, age 20; Katie, age 18; and Wesley, age 16. They are humbled to have been blessed by God with three wonderful children who have professed and demonstrated their own personal salvation in Christ Jesus.
